ASNLS primarily aims to develop the modern Nubian Languages to approach the stage where they can be fully reused in all aspects of life. NLS strategy of research can be summarized the following points:
- Refer to Old Nubian as a complete datum source, a developed Nubian model for all modern Nubian languages regarding lexical components and vocabulary and attempt to fill in the missing linguistic gaps and the undeveloped areas in modern Nubian languages such as orthography, phonetics, and grammar.
- Examine and analyze modern Nubian languages to drive the grammatical rules, sentence syntax, and sentence structuring according to their development needs.
- Apply advanced linguistic research methods and theories to achieve the optimum results.
- Put these languages in the direct testing experience through using them in poetic and literary translations and increase the authoring and publications in these languages.
