This unit is mainly concerned with the development of the grammar and sentence structure of the Nubian languages.  The research will consider previous work such as the OLD Nubian Grammar (Browne: 2001). This unit’s work covers morphological analysis, syntactic analysis, grammatical rules for these languages based on new techniques and approaches in linguistics such as generative grammar and transformational grammar, which renders a straightforward analysis and rule formation process.
